We would like to see a windmill or a set of solar panels powering ever home in the world. 

Until then, there are may other ways we can do our part to protect the  Environment. Most people don't realize, that there are many benefits when we take the right steps to help the Environment.

Not only do these steps help save the Environment, many of the steps save us money as well.... who's not interested in helping the environment?

Remember a little can go a long way, we believe at WaysToKeepItGreen.Com that if we can get everyone to do a little to help,  we will have a green environment to live in and to leave to our children and their children...
The biggest culprit behind our Environmental problems is CO2. The less we create, the better for the planet. We can all help by taking a few simple steps, like these…  Problem 1:  Carbon dioxide. More than a quarter of that CO2 comes from electrical power plants.

Solution: Long term:

Build more wind turbines to supply clean power.  Short term with immediate results, reduce electrical power consumption. HOW:  Change incandescent lighting to Fluorescent lighting and where you can for the BEST and biggest saving install LED lighting.  LED lights will give you the greatest savings.

Problem:  Carbon dioxide. More than half of that CO2 comes from transportation.

 We can all help the Environment here are some ways to help reduce air pollution:  walking, biking, carpooling, or using public transportation as an alternative.  Drive less. For example, instead of using a car, you may want to walk, use mass transit, or ride a bike. When you travel try not renting that car the next time, this can be fun and you can learn a lot about the area from the locals.  

Make sure your car is well-tuned. Take care not to spill gasoline when you fill the tank of your car or lawn or recreation equipment.

 Make sure that you tightly seal the lids of chemical products such as solvents, garden chemicals, or household cleaners to keep evaporation to a minimum.
